The new social network from the search engine giant has just received its new major update, and it is the new Games button which sits next to the Circles button on the top. The announcement came from a blog post from Vic Gundotra, senior vice president of engineering at Google.

Vic Gundotra wrote,
“We want to make playing games online just as fun, and just as meaningful, as playing in real life. That means giving you control over when you see games, how you play them and with whom you share your experiences.”
This is indeed going to be a key feature on Google+ and it will allow various developers to use this platform. It will also make users spend more time on Google+ as games are a still a key feature with Facebook.
Personally, I think Facebook may be affected due to this new feature on Google+. It will eventually come to all users as Google has mentioned that they will gradually roll out Games to Google+.
