By now most of us are aware about the BlackBerry ban in India, now some solid details have emerged as according to an Indian government official, on August 30th a final decision will be made by the government in regards to this issue.

The biggest concern here has always been about the compromised safety as Indian has to tackle a lot of terrorism issues and access to such communication systems can be really helpful for the government. RIM has been given an August 31st deadline to provide the security officials with a method to track and read the secured messages which send via using BlackBerry services.
In regards to this issue meetings will be held between RIM, telecom agencies and Indian security officials on Thursday and Friday. India is a really huge market for RIM, and BlackBerry services have been a big rend over the recent years. If RIM is not able to come up with a solution they may no longer be doing business with about 1 million of their subscribers.
