Apple Sues Motorola, says XOOM Design Copied from iPad

So far Apple has been successful in its battle against the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, as Apple claims that the device infringes Apple-owned patents. The Cupertino based company so far has been successful in blocking the sales of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Europe and in Australia.

Now, FOSS Patents reports that Apple has recently filed complaint against Motorola in Europe, claiming that the design of the Motorola XOOM tablet is copied from Apple’s iPad. The company already has multiple outstanding patent complaints against Motorola and even Motorola has some against Apple.

Since October 2010, a total of 40 different patents are named in various suits between Apple and Motorola.
