Pioneer has been making a vast range of products for professional as well as starter Djs and it has new included a new gear called the CDJ-850 Digital Media Player.
The device has a very similar form-factor as we have seen before in other professional level media players like the CDJ-2000 and CDJ-900. The CDJ-850 comes along with a 206mm jog dial with a rotary sensor and browsing buttons. It also supports a vast range of media formats including MP3, ACC, WAV and AIFF from CD-r/RW and USB drives.
The cool thing about the CDJ-850 is that it comes with pre-installed software called rekordbox which can analyze data like Wave, Beat Grid and ID3 tags. The user has the ability to create cues and loop settings while you can also create and edit playlists. The CDJ-850 will cost $999 US and starts shipping this August.
