Nexus 6P Stood the Test of Time
It seems like every other major tech company launches a new smartphone every month and this makes the smartphone industry a very competitive one. However, despite the fact that new smartphones come out every month, there are couple of older handheld devices that stood the test of time and can be considered ideal smartphones to this day such as Nexus 6P.
Nexus 6P was launched back in September of 2015 and it is the result between Google and Huawei’s partnership. The Chinese tech giant equipped Nexus 6P with extraordinary hardware parts while Google added in its highly optimized operating system to the mix. Therefore, Huawei’s hardware power and Google’s constant OS updates are what make Nexus 6P a high-end smartphone. With that being said, today we will take a look at what Nexus 6P has to offer and see if it’s worth our money or not.
One of Nexus 6P’s key selling points is its large 5.7-inch AMOLED display which offers a high pixel resolution of 1440 x 2560. To make things even better, Nexus 6P’s display also features a high pixel density of 518 ppi and it has been coated in Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on top of oleophobic coating.
Leaving the display aside, what truly helped Nexus 6P to stand the test of time is it’s octa-core Qualcomm MSMS8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset. The processor has been clocked at 2.0GHz Cortex-A75 and it is paired with an Adreno 430 graphics processing unit alongside 3GB of RAM. In addition, the smartphone can be purchased in the 32, 64 and 128GB of internal storage space variants.
When it comes to the camera department, people who enjoy taking selfies will love this smartphone! Nexus 6P ships with a 12.3 MP rear camera which offers f/2.0 aperture, laser autofocus and dual-LED flash. However, the front side features a smaller 8MP selfie camera that’s capable of filming full HD videos at 30 fps.
