New Mac Pro Official Features and Specifications

So, we saw the four new iMac models which were unveiled, we also saw the new Magic Trackpad and here is some more awesome information about the new Mac Pro. The new Mac Pros have got more expensive have some nice new upgrades and will be available in August.

Here are the specifications for the two new models:

New Quad-Core Mac Pro ($2,499)

  • 1TB Serial ATA 3Gbps HDD (7200 rpm)
  • ATI Radeon HD 5770 GPU with 1GB GDDR5 memory
  • 18x SuperDrive® with double-layer support

Well, that is not all. If you think you need something more powerful than this then Apple has some really brilliant upgrade options to offer with every Mac Pro which also include a 12-core Intel Xeon processor. So here are the upgrade options available.

  • one 3.33 GHz 6-core Intel Xeon W3680 processor for the quad-core Mac Pro

So, the new Mac Pro seems to have some really powerful options and a really powerful price. Anyways there will be many interested in these powerful machines. However, if you are interested in the iMac, then the new ones seem to be quite powerful enough for an above average user.
