Well, the previously considered vaporware by Lumigon seems to be a actual project as Lumigon has recently announced the launch date and some specifications for their Android smartphone. The Lumigon T1 will go up for pre-order from September 20^th and will start shipping from October 20^th.

Well, the phone seems to have a really nice design which may probably be the only reason why it may attract a few consumers. Other than that, it has a 3.2-inch capacitive TFT touchscreen display, Android 2.1, accelerometer, 1GHz Freescale i.MX51 processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and 720p video out via mini HDMI.

Well, seems like some really decent specifications for an Android smartphone and the unique Scandinavian design may do the trick. Also, it looks like it will be later followed by the Lumigon S1 and Lumigon E1 as earlier rumors suggest that both these phones were supposed to release this year.

The Lumigon T1 also features a T9 style slide out keyboard and I think the landscape mode will provide a full QWERT touch keyboard. Well, the price is yet to be announced but it is confirmed that the device will officially be available from October 20^th.
