Once again, an LG representative has confirmed that another LG Windows Phone 7 handset will be available in September. Although there have been no confirmations, it looks like this device will be called the Pacific. Along with this the company has also mentioned that more Windows Phone 7 devices will be available before the end of the year.

Well, it is quite obvious that LG had to do something like this, as there were no great Android phone from LG and they seemed to be falling behind. However, Ken Hong, LG representative in Seoul mentioned that the company is still interested in other phone operating systems, including Android and other Linux-based platforms. However, they seem to be in real good terms with Microsoft as Hong later mentioned;

“We have a deep relationship with Microsoft so expect to have a couple by the end of this year.”

LG, is still the third largest cellphone maker, after Nokia and Samsung but we all know that it has been facing a lot of problems due to recent disappointments. Companies like Apple, Motorola, HTC and RIM seems to be doing really great while the big names have been struggling a lot in the smartphone market.
