HTC now responds to Apple’s Antenna Press Conference says Jobs is making the whole Industry look Bad

So, we all know about the special press conference which Apple help to tell us more about the iPhone 4 antenna issue where Apple told us how much they care for their users. Apple also showed us phones from other manufacturers which may have similar problems and towards the end we also heard a brilliant iPhone 4 antenna song. However, I believe that Apple had gone a bit unethical in this press conference when they showed us the BlackBerry Bold 9700, HTC Droid Eris and Samsung Omnia II which dropped signals when held in awkward positions.

We heard from Nokia and RIM who responded to this press conference and now HTC has something to comment on the really unethical way of Apple to save their iPhone 4. Although, these comments do not officially come from HTC, these statements appeared on Mark Moon’s Twitter account who happens to be the manager at HTC’s Belgium/Luxemburg/Netherlands operations.

Here is what he had to say;

“Is Jobs really commenting on other manufacturers’ reception to make up for his own design flaw? I’m surely seeing this wrong …”

“… okay, I’ve stopped following the cry story of the ‘litte fruit’ … got better things to do … He’s making the whole industry look bad …”

“LOL … I’m getting a lot of tweets from people who want to know how to hold their HTC in the wrong way, to lose reception …”

“I don’t know, guys, I don’t know how to hold an HTC device to make it lose a perfectly good reception…. ”

“Looking at the responses by the industry, yesterday’s press conference might make a nice marketing case for students in 2020.”

Now, I do like the new iPhone 4 and now that they are helping their users to get it fixed is all over more amazing. However, what I disliked in this entire stream of disappointing news for Apple fanboys is the denials from Apple, which were later followed by this press conference where Apple tried to show us how every other smartphone has similar problems.

It is very obvious that other companies took quick action in defending their products, unlike Apple which took a few weeks to call upon a conference and discuss such a critical issue. Well, we are yet to hear from Samsung about Apple’s effort to save their current smartphone and we will let you know as soon as we get some new updates.

Well, this has been really ridiculous!
