The developer who brought the CyanogenMod to the Samsung Vibrant and the Samsung Captivate –Atinm has just a new Samsung Galaxy S2, from the Korean manufacturer itself. Yes, it’s true! Samsung has now taken some great steps to help the developer community by handing over the SGS2 to a developer and asking him to bring the famous CyanogenMod to its flagship device.
While, Samsung has started working with the developers, it is unclear what Carrier’s have to say about such a move, and we wonder whether Carrier-bound device would get CyanogenMod for their Samsung Galaxy S2. Samsung has also mentioned that this won’t follow for all their devices, but we may get to see a few devices the manufacturer will encourage developers to work with.
Until now, there is no official date regarding the availability of the CyanogenMod for Samsung Galaxy S2, neither to we know how it would be available for users.
