IE9 beats Chrome 6 in HTML 5 Speed Test

The test clearly shows Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 9 taking the trophy against Chrome 6 when it comes to hardware-accelerated canvas rendering in HTML5.

IE9 Preview 3 has been officially released and it goes up against Chrome 6 developer, in some previous benchmarks the Chrome 6 had an upper hand over IE9. The difference in speed is quite huge and well it looks like the much obsolete web browser is once again trying hard to set its standards reaching a much higher fps than Chrome 6.
