HTC Desire 210 launched in India, is an affordable Android smartphone priced at Rs 8,700
HTC has launched its new affordable Android based smartphone in the Indian market. This device from the Taiwanese company is known as the HTC Desire 210 and will be available in the market starting May 2.
The smartphone was announced at the same event where the company launched the HTC One M8 for the Indian market. This entry-level device however will cost just Rs 8,700.
The Desire 210 from HTC sports a 4-inch WVGA resolution display and it is powered by a 1GHz MediaTek MTK6572 dual-core processor and comes with 512MB of RAM. It further includes 4GB of built-in storage which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
Other feature include a 5 megapixel rear camera and a VGA quality front facing camera. It has a 1,300 mAh battery and in in terms of connectivity it supports dual-SIM card slot, has 3G capability, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
It comes pre-loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean which is skinned with the Blinkfeed UI. Out of the two SIM card slots one is for a micro-SIM while the other uses a regular SIM and only one can support 3G connectivity at a time.
