Microsoft Confirms 14 March Release for IE 9

Microsoft has confirmed that it will release the latest version of its internet browser, the ubiquitous Internet Explorer, on 14th March. This will be the 9th incarnation of the world’s most used internet browser.

In recent times, Microsoft has been steadily losing its internet browser war to the FOSS internet browser Mozilla Firefox, and Google’s highly popular Chrome. Could this incarnation of the Internet Explorer be their winning horse? God only knows that Microsoft badly need a shot in the arm, what with so many of its departments steadily losing out to its fierce competitors.

I actually really like IE9; but I think they are wasting space above the address bar. I did not like the half address bar half tabs in one line.

I certainly do agree with you. The concept of having half address bar and half tabs just doesn’t do it.

I certainly agree with you regarding your point about the half address bar and half tabs in one line. Somehow, it just doesn’t hit the spot.
