Google Pixel 2: Operating System

Recent reports and leaks are showing that Google is actually working on developing Android 8.0 right now. In fact, Google’s Senior VP has even teased that Android 8.0 is going to come under the “Oreo” nickname. This wouldn’t be the first time that Google partners up with Nestle, who is the company that also owns KitKat. Android 8.0 Oreo is definitely going to bring a bunch of enhancements to the already smooth Android user experience.

Qualcomm has just unveiled its top of the line Snapdragon 835 chipset. Everyone is expecting Google to equip its flagship smartphone with this processor. Additionally, Qualcomm confirmed that its Snapdragon 835 has been built using 10nm technology therefore it will more than likely be able to provide owners with impressive performances.

Rumor has it that Google wants to follow in Samsung’s footsteps and install an innovative edge-to-edge display on Pixel 2. The already existing Pixel model features a full HD pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 but the new model is expected to feature a larger 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution.
