LG L70 and LG L90 now available for purchase in India
Two new smartphones from LG have made their way in to the Indian market. Both belong to the new L-series III range of smartphones from LG and are called the L70 and the L90. These were first announced earlier this year during MWC 2014.
Online retailer Snapdeal is the one selling these smartphone with a promise to dispatch them in 12 business days. The LG L70 has been priced at Rs 14,500 while the LG L90 has been priced at Rs 17,500.
The L70 smartphone from LG sports a 4.5-inch WVGA resolution IPS display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and includes 1GB of RAM. The device comes with 4GB of built-in storage capacity which can be further expanded using a microSD card.
The smartphone features an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. It is a dual-SIM capable smartphone which supports 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity. It is equipped with a 2,100 mAh battery.
Next is the LG L90 which is more capable smartphone amongst the two. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor and has 1GB of RAM. It also includes a 4.7-inch qHD resolution display, has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a secondary 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.
The L90 has 8GB of built-in storage capacity which is expandable using a microSD card. It also includes all the key connectivity features like the ones on the L70 and is equipped with a 2,540 mAh battery which is rated to provide a day-long usage.
Both the L90 and the L70 will come pre-loaded with Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat which is the latest version of the mobile OS. The former is priced at Rs 17,500 while the latter is priced at Rs 14,500. This is not yet the official pricing for either smartphones.
