Samsung officially announces the Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet

A couple of days ago, Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Note 8.0 which seems a like a bigger and heavier version of the Galaxy Note II. It is launched under the Note series and hence it includes the proprietary S-Pen and features voice calling functionality, which makes it a gigantic Android smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is powered by a quad-core Exynos processor clocked at 1.6GHz, it has 2GB of RAM and comes in 16GB and 32GB storage variants. It has an 8-inch display with a 1280×800 pixel resolution and pixel density of 189ppi. It also features a 5 megapixel rear camera and a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera.

It features a microSD card slot of expandable storage, features a massive 4,600 mAh battery and it runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean which is skinned with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UX which is optimized to work with the S-Pen stylus.

Along with all the S-Pen optimized features the Galaxy Note 8.0 is also comes with all the sharing features like AllShare Play, AllShare Cast and AllShare Framework. It further includes all the Samsung and Google apps which are bundled with Galaxy smartphones.
